State Lotteries are Needed

This paper is about the role of the State lotteries in increasing funds for the state. Sometimes due to the increase in workforce experiencing layoffs and hiring freezes there is less revenue from tax collection. This paper also points out the importance of lotteries that support education programs in states like Georgia and South Carolina. State lotteries have been a good source of income throughout history for the government when there were in dire needs of funds. If it weren’t for state lotteries, legislators would have had to raise taxes to make ends meet. They are also a great help because they don’t have to force people to contribute. These lotteries are not only a great help for education, but also for transport, as well as primary education and secondary education. In some cases state lotteries also help with financial assistance for higher education and college programs. This paper proves that state lotteries are not only a way of raising the state revenue, but also a way of improving the condition of the state by funding education and transport.
